Barcelona is the only club who doesn’t shit their pants every time they visit Bernabeu and also has 0 respect to Madrid. Thus, not letting Madrid getting any ground or any advantage that they can take against us. We really want to choke them in their own blood every time we face them. Any other club has massive respect to them and that can also translate to fear. This is why the last time we face them was in the semifinals back in 2011

So by this logic all the opponents that Barca faces have no fear of Barca, since..you know – all the previous UCL eliminations. I don’t think at this level is about fear per se. Just emotions. And maybe Madrid can leverage these nights in a way other clubs just don’t.
Real in UCL is just different from La Liga. More motivated, more psychologically anchored.

It is about ‘Pep made another stupid experiment and put a defensive midfielder to play left back, put a centerback to play right back, and put a disabled rightwing player trying to overload Madrid’s left’ — So Pep made a ridiculous 424-316 formation with no actual midfielder, and if they want to win they need to play with solid midfield.
