A bit of context to Joao Pedro playing as a 10 under Maresca is quite simply due to Cole Palmer's injury. When everyone was fit, Maresca would choose Joao or Delap to start at 9 based on form.
Seems like a silly metric to measure. Why would you want just one “number 9” goalscorer who can get injured or tired?
There was a Chelsea season a few years ago when multiple players all had decent goal numbers and it was great.
Underestimate cheslea at your perel yes agreed if we play like we did at the weekend we couldn't be in trouble but I think we could take PSG out let's go Chelsea 💙
I do still think Delap could come good, but it'll take time and patience. He looked very good at the CWC and in the preseason friendlies, so I hope we can see that version of Delap soon, two in form strikers are better than one.

Chelsea's weakness is not in creating chances
The double standar is crazy….delap is not good at all and pundit tries to find justifications for him when Jackson was in the same spot and did prove he can score but needed to be polished every body was on him…..delap need simply to go to smaller team to develop and we need to call back jackson as our second striker…he got good chemistry with caicedo palmer and the ohther boys…delap is not good enough for chelsea…and i am not sure but i thnik he will blend well with jao…the two of them have great understanding of droping and progressing the ball as a number 9
If we are to win this, i need PSG to beat us in the first leg. I just dont trust us whenever we are in a winning position
