So this has really happened I just want to know who’s next
he better be the number 1
£180 000 a week? Bloody rediculous, he's getting on now, not worth more than £100 grand (which is disgustingly high anyway if you ask me).
Hope the £180k is wrong he was on around £138k & we wanted to get his wages down to around £80-90k. I want to sign Areola he knows the club players will imo work well with Aguerd. But I have to say if I'm Souček & Areola gets £100k plus I'd be very upset. Souček deserves a new deal, imo is loan was massive in keeping us up, player of season 20/21 & played so many games still ranked 3rd best in our team in his 'off season'. Not to mention character & we probably will only have Rice one more year. If we sell if for £25m at all I'll be fuming & if to a PL team he will score against us. We will not be able to replace him for that kind of money (not right away). Congrats to Areola hope he earns #1 but I think Souček has more then earned to be our 5th-6th best paid player.
Lingard was so good for us but he should of came back last summer then Moyes wouldnt of pushed big on Vlasic. Tbh I'd prefer for us to keep Benni & go after a De Ketelaere who is a tall technical versatile massive talent or a Blas from Nantes who we have been linked, suit the PL Also versatile play #10 left wing & has played B2B more deep lying. Of course a Cornet not on huge wages cover #10 LW CF LB too for £17m also Dennis who is on less then £40k…
