  1. Ake’s going to struggle against their pace, but it’s understandable Ait-Nouri needs some rest too

big fan of that midfield experiment. Let’s see how NOR manages fulfilling Bernardo’s role without Bernardo as a backup. Specially with so much defence liabilities such as Savio, Tijj and AkΓ©

Interesting lineup in theory but man what a time to try out a lineup that has pretty much never played together. We’ll see how it goes

Can see it cooking tho so let’s see

I like it. Gives us a better chance to fight in EPL and with Doku included we should still have the firepower to beat Newcastle.

Foden not even in this B lineup is interesting though. Has he run out of chances with Pep?

  5. Idk about making this Doku’s return in such a heavily rotated team. Hopefully he gets pulled out early even if its not going great

  6. Almost a full CB defence, I don’t care, it better be a clean sheet.

Nico G, Reijnders and O’Riley midfield is balanced enough, can’t complain, Nico O back is lovely.

Doku back is also great, Savinho too, I hope they’ll be able to feed Marmoush well, the most worrying part of this lineup, a Doku Savinho combo would struggle to feed even Haaland at times, I don’t know how they’ll do with Marmoush.

    A good lineup overall.

Savinho I’ve caught a lot of strays for defending you and asking for more time, please perform just this once

Oh god….I keep saying Savinho won’t get a start and yet, here he is.

We rotated a little too much honestly, but it’s an intriguing experiment. It’s just there’s players in there who have not played for some time like Stones and Ake, so they might be a little bit out of touch and not fully prepared. Hopefully we do beat Newcastle as the FA Cup is a very winnable competition for us.
