The Achilles heel this season, however, has been conceding straight after scoring, and it wasn’t long before Rodri scored from a corner after shambolic marking.
Forest weren’t done though and equalised for a second time through Elliot Anderson to send the away end into raptures and fire a message to Pep Guardiola.

Has to come off his line better for the second goal scored by Rodri, but did make a smart save early in the second half from Bernardo Silva.
Jair Cunha – 6
Did largely well in possession of the ball once again and isn’t afraid to pass it out from the back if the game dictates it.
Nikola Milenkovic – 6
Didn’t do too much wrong, but there does seem to be something missing from the Serbian’s game this season in comparison to last.
Murillo – 7
Not at the races really, again and far too many times he passed the ball out of play under no real pressure from a City forward. Made a superb goal-line clearance in stoppage time to preserve the point for the Reds.
Ola Aina – 5
Is struggling somewhat at the moment and although he did have some good moments against Antoine Semenyo, he also looked extremely lazy at times.
Ibrahim Sangare – 6
One of Forest’s better players on the night – again! Played some really good passes in the first half and broke play up well once he got to grips with the game.
Nicolas Dominguez – 6
Coped largely well with the City midfielder, and as ever, he buzzed around with usual tenacity, particularly in the first half.
Elliot Anderson – 8
The midfielder showed Pep Guardiola what he can bring to the table with a stunning effort to bring the scores level for a second time.
Neco Williams – 6
Not his best game by any stretch but one thing he did do was give absolutely everything for the cause which wasn’t easy against a team like City.
Morgan Gibbs-White – 7
What a goal to bring up your best-ever goalscoring campaign in a Premier League season. His backheel was remarkable and showcases that he is brimming with confidence.

Just didn’t work for him. Was never going to be easy against a team like City with Pereira setting up to play on the counter. Needs to show more when it comes to his awareness in the final third.

Callum Hudson-Odoi – 6
Had a lot of defending to do during his time on the pitch.
