Why all eyes will be on James Trafford this weekend

Trafford is expected to start for City at Newcastle this weekend, as he did in the Carabao Cup in January when he won Player of the Round for a fine goalkeeping performance.

The 23-year-old stopper has been vocal about his desire to play more at the top level, and rumours continue to swirl around him potentially leaving the Etihad this summer for pastures new, with Newcastle an interested party.

Keith Wyness, who has been CEO of numerous Premier League clubs, has exclusively told Football Insider that Trafford should join Newcastle this summer over any other side.

The likes of Aston Villa and Tottenham are reportedly interested in his services too, but if he wants to join the Magpies, then Saturday will be a good time to show that he should be the man for Howe and co. to target.
