Aston Villa are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing Marcos Senesi.
The Bournemouth centre-back, who is highly sought after heading into the final months of the season, is set to become a free agent when the campaign ends.
Senesi joined Bournemouth from Feyenoord in August 2022, signing a four-year deal with the south coast club.
He has since made 119 appearances for the Cherries across the four seasons he has spent at the club, attracting interest from a number of suitors.
Senesi, who will turn 29 in May, has played an underrated role in Andoni Iraola’s successful spell at Bournemouth.
In the 2023/24 campaign, he scored four goals and provided five assists in 31 Premier League appearances.
Last season, a hamstring injury caused him to miss 16 league matches, but he has remained injury-free this term, starting 28 of Bournemouth’s 29 league games so far.
According to Marca, Villa are among a clutch of teams interested in signing him on a free transfer this summer.
Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, and Tottenham are also monitoring the situation, with further talks expected in the coming days.
