JP said that the hat-trick was a dream come true for him in Chelsea blue, and he certainly deserves the plaudits for his excellent center forward play. But all the goals were a result of some excellent team play — including Palmer’s, on which JP was credited with the assist — and that’s truly something you love to see.
This is now the seventh Man of the Mach for João Pedro, most on the team, and his fifth in his last seven appearances. May his excellent form long continue!
2. ALEJANDRO GARNACHO (7.6)
It’s been a strange and inconsistent first season at Chelsea for Garnacho, and lately, it only seemed to be getting worse. In fact, he’s barely even played of late, and this was just his third start in our last ten games. But if he could play like this more often… that would be lovely.
We all so desperately want prime Palmer to return and grace our screens once again.
