Bukayo Saka was Arsenal’s matchwinner against Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Premier League leaders extended the gap at the top of the table to seven points after a hard-fought win against the Seagulls at the Amex.
The Gunners were far from their best on Wednesday night, but they still managed to get the win thanks to Saka’s ninth-minute goal.
By doing so, the Arsenal number seven matched Olivier Giroud’s impressive feat of scoring in three consecutive away games against the same team.
Answer honestly: Is Bukayo Saka really the best winger in the world right now?

Giroud was often criticised during his time at Arsenal and rightly so.
The France international missed tons of opportunities in front of goal, and many feel he is the reason why the Gunners failed to win the Premier League title in 2016.
However, Giroud did produce a few memorable moments during his time at Arsenal, and one of his achievements has just been matched by Bukayo Saka.
By scoring against Brighton, Saka became the first Arsenal player since Giroud to score in three consecutive away games against the same team.
The World Cup winner did so against Crystal Palace, with the third of his goals coming in 2015 – 11 years ago.
Saka has now scored in each of his last three visits to the Amex, and we won’t be surprised at all if he finds the net in his fourth game there next season as well.

Saka is a superstar, and he has committed the prime years of his career to Arsenal.
The Englishman is already viewed as a future legend, and in the very near future, he could surpass a few huge names with his goals and assists.
In terms of goals, Saka is just one behind Alexis Sanchez, three away from Robert Pires, six behind Theo Walcott and seven below Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s tallies in the Premier League.

Beating the above names will make him Arsenal’s sixth-highest goalscorer in the Premier League era.
Speaking of assists, Saka is already Arsenal’s fourth-highest assister ever in the Premier League. He is 14 away from Cesc Fabregas and 18 behind the great Thierry Henry.
Dennis Bergkamp leads the way with 94 assists, but we think Saka will break the Dutchman’s record before he retires.
