which also means 1 year ago today, Ali put on a master class at the Parc Des Princes. We would have conceded a boatload of goals that night if not for him.

What a crazy game that was, feel like we have never recovered since that game

  3. Felt like on top of the world after that game, a champion-like kind of game that see us overcome intense pressure against a very good side at their turf thanks to elite goalkeeping of Ali, a magical moment from Harvey, and (a lot of) luck.

Then it all when downhill since. Lost the 2nd leg, the cup final, Slot’s bizarre obsession with replicating PSG began and here we are today.

He’s coming back in the summer having barely played for 2 years with 1 year left on his contract, not looking good for anybody.

  5. Slot is responsible for ruining this guys career

Hope he can get back on track

It’s a great shame Arne never rated him because the way we play now he could’ve been a great understudy to Florian. He’s in many ways a classic #10.

  7. I think PSG had Slot shell shocked and he hasn’t truly recovered. Add the tragedy and injuries and it explains a lot about the season. We’ve lost our dynamic offense that had many teams on the back leg. Now they basically have a third of the field where they have to do little to now work, because of all the back and lateral passes. Unless we have Szobo in the middle, along with Wirtz and Hugo up top, our creativity and pace is painful to watch. We have fallen off a cliff on so many levels.

  8. Gotta be the most dominant I’ve ever seen a team be against Liverpool.

    Crazy that they lost.

  9. This was the most giddy I had felt after a match. Felt like pure robbery after Alisson having the game of his career and getting the second leg at Anfield.

If Trent didn’t get injured in the second leg I fully believe we would have won in ET, and if we progress I don’t doubt we would have won the UCL.

When we started subbing off our best penalty takers I knew we weren’t going to win on pens.
