Arsenal star Bukayo Saka entered his name into the history books during his side’s win against Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Gunners were made to work hard by the Seagulls, but it was worth it in the end as the win has pushed them seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

Saka not only scored the winner against Brighton, but he also completed 300 senior appearances for Arsenal in that game. That seemed to have wowed Mikel Arteta.

Answer honestly: Is Bukayo Saka really the best winger in the world right now?

Bukayo Saka has made 300 appearances for the Arsenal first-team at the age of 24.

The Englishman became the fourth youngest player to achieve that feat and even managed to do it at a younger age than club legend Tony Adams.

In 300 games for the Gunners, Saka has scored 79 goals and provided 78 assists in all competitions. That is an incredible record for a wide player, especially when you consider that he started as a left-back.

Like every Arsenal fan, Arteta was amazed when he heard about the milestone and branded Saka’s achievement as ‘incredible’.

He said, as per Arsenal.com: “Unbelievable. Unbelievable numbers at his age to produce the amount of games, to do it in the manner that he’s done it, and the stats that he’s got related to those games are just incredible.

“So a big night for him.”

300 appearances for your boyhood club is a special achievement, and we’re sure Saka would’ve been pleased.

However, the England international’s aim is still unfulfilled.

Saka has said many times that he wants to win the big trophies at Arsenal. That is his objective, and the Gunners are on track to achieve that this season.

We are convinced Saka will enjoy that milestone a lot more than reaching 300 appearances.
