[Fernando Polo] Although the Barcelona city council remains very discreet and has set no deadline, Barça is very optimistic about obtaining the green light this Friday or next Monday for the first occupancy license for Spotify Camp Nou as part of phase 1C.
This long-awaited approval would allow the reopening of the north stand (Gol Nord) and would increase the stadium's capacity from 45,401 spectators to 62,000.
I was wondering why we were not there yet since it was intially expected by Feb 22. Hope we get the approval soon with all the safety requirements met.
The Camp Nou was awesome yesterday. Imagine the atmosphere with 17k more fans in.

But let’s get it already and have the stadium cooking for the rest of the season – with a game and atmosphere like yesterday we’ll go far in UCL hopefully!
