No football fan would have Southgate he only got the England job because he was a yes man? And still didn’t win anything with all the easy draws in cup competitions

Southgate has a lot of chat for a guy who bottled 4 tournaments. And this narrative that he’s the most successful England manager of recent years is rubbish. We just had an amazing squad. It was painful watching some games.
Give him the Manchester United job
Think getting England to 2 finals and a semi final is massively overlooked.
We're not an elite footballing nation. We've won 1 world cup and our best performance in tournaments since 66 was a semi final in 90 and a semi final in 96 before Southgate
He's the 2nd most successful England coach ever. Why wouldn't he be eligible to take a top 6 job? Carrick, Amorim, Rosenoir, Maresca, Arteta, Slot… how proven were they when they first got their jobs?
