Textbook Stoney, frame a positive (getting rid of under-performing players) as a negative.

  2. Ndaiye Cunha Mbeumo Amad dorgu and mount for 2 games would be enough.

Double down on the midfield. Anderson, Tonali, Stiller, gibbs white

The left wing is a ghost town. Definitely need some work there. If Shaw could stay fit and was 3 years younger, I’d say just utilise Dorgu, but ultimately he’ll be our left back for years to come (if he develops well)

I think it’s the first time I’ve seen us linked with Antony Gordon. If we’re going to get anyone from Newcastle, I’d much prefer Tonali or Guimaraes.

Tzolis of FC Bruges would be a good pick. Fast, strong, agile, good finishing, can create, just needs some improvement in decision making to be the finished product. He’s still young too (24). His profile suits the PL. Would not be too expensive, and cheap contract too. Seems like a no brainer to me.

  6. Ideally we should sign some1 like Ndiaye. No cup really sucks because this would be best time for a youth player to audition. I was hoping to see Noah Ajayi play with the senior team.

  7. I mean, Carrick said “possibly” and that they have several options down the left (Cunha, Dorgu, Amad). They are always assassin and rebalancing the squad. So it is a bit of a stretch from Stoney.

But, with that said. It is quite obvious that another winger will be needed if we get into Europe. We will need another summer 25 window again in 26. 4 first team players that can slot straight in. That is not counting that we need to build up the squad as we have a couple of outgoings already confirmed.

    What a media rat,

Tell me one winger we let go of who had skills or intent to play for this club.

  9. We didn’t have any quality wingers anyway. Amorim or not, they’d be getting replaced this summer.

I’ll never understand how many times United didn’t profile players properly, consistently. Those dark years of recruitment should be studied. Crazy. Anyway, onwards and upwards.
