Fulham are in very good form, make no mistake, as West Ham head across London for a Wednesday night encounter under the lights: Climbing out of the relegation zone is on the cards as Nottingham Forest have arguably the season’s toughest test against Manchester City: Three points for Nuno’s men will could see them leapfrog the Tricky Trees into 17th spot.

However, Marco Silva’s side are chasing European football and are within three points of seventh place in the Premier League: No pushovers.

Much of the build up to this game has focussed on Fulham’s in-form Harry Wilson: Nine goals and seven assists in 27 games this season shows Fulham’s star is at the top of his game and a big threat for visitors West Ham.

The Welshman scored against Tottenham on Saturday and then provided the assist for Alex Iwobi’s winner (good man) – before limping off with a twisted ankle.

It was this substitution that sparked concern that Wilson might not be fit for the Hammers’ visit, handing West Ham a crucial boost.

Hammers’ morale will be boosted if in-form Harry Wilson is ruled out

Marco Silva, reported in the Metro.co.uk, offered an update on his team status:

‘Joachim Andersen will be back in 100% sure. Harry Wilson is one of the players we have to keep assessing. Let’s see.’

Obviously waiting until the last minute, Wilson may face alate fitness test to see if his ankle is upto 90 minutes. With West Ham desperate for the points, they’ll take any good news ahead of another game that is – without doubt a must win encounter as the points available to the Hammers this season start to dwindle alarmingly.
