In my opinion, this isn't the greatest XI but it's the best XI that actually played together on the pitch. Due to the 'only 3-foreigner on the pitch rule' at the time, I chose the legendary Dutch trio as my foreign picks. Maldini, Baresi, Costacurta, Tassotti, and Donadoni were the constants of both the Sacchi and Capello eras. For the remaining three Italian spots, I preferred Rossi over Galli as a goalkeeper, Albertini over Ancelotti in midfield, and Massaro over Colombo in attack. They definitely shared the pitch, especially during the undefeated 1991-92 championship season. This core lineup played together for the last time in the 1993 Champions League final, with Lentini featuring instead of Gullit.
