Toure is set to be sidelined for between four to six weeks after limping out of that Wednesday win inside the opening 10 minutes. It leaves Norwich with just Mathias Kvistgaarden as their only fit senior striker, although Jakov Medic operated there in the second half.
Norwich remain without Pelle Mattsson, who suffered an ankle injury in last month’s victory over Coventry. He has been joined on the injury list by fellow Dane Oscar Schwartau, who has been ruled out for a month with a hamstring issue.
Jose Cordoba and Amankwah Forson are expected to return to Clement’s matchday squad for this trip to Leicester but Shane Duffy remains sidelined along with ex-Foxes full back Jeffery Schlupp.
Left back Lucien Mahovo is expected to be out for a significant period due to a muscular issue, with Harry Amass set for a prolonged spell out of the side after a hamstring injury sustained in training last month.
Ante Crnac and Mirko Topic have been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering ACL injuries. Elliot Myles and Gabe Forsyth have made their returns to training as they continue to build up their fitness levels. Winger Matej Jurasek is also out with a foot injury.
Leicester duo Jamaal Lascelles and Jordan James have trained this week but their fitness will need to be assessed ahead of this afternoon’s clash. Abdul Fatawu is expected to be fit after returning to the matchday squad in their midweek draw at Middlesbrough.
Gary Rowett will take charge of his first game as Leicester boss at the King Power after leading the Foxes to two successive draws.
Leicester have won each of their last five league games against Norwich, since a 1-0 loss in the Premier League in February 2020 when Jamal Lewis netted the winner at Carrow Road. Norwich have won four of their last five away league games (L1), as many as in their previous 31 on the road (D12 L15).
