The closures will be along the M3 and M27 and will take place during the late evening into the early morning.

National Highways said drivers planning on travelling on these roads from Southampton should take note of the different diversions that may be in place.

Here are the closures along the M3 and M27 that will be in place during the weekend of Friday, February 27, to Sunday, March 1.

Hampshire M3 and M27 closures for Friday, February 27

M3 

On the M3 northbound, there will be an entry slip road closure at Junction 7.

This will take place between 9pm on Friday and 6am on Saturday, so that drainage works can occur.

M27

On the M27 westbound, there will be an entry slip road closure at Junction 7.

This will occur between 9pm on Friday and 6am on Saturday, so that major resurfacing work can take place.

Alongside that, on the M27 eastbound, there will be an entry slip road closure at Junction 3.

Maintenance works will be carried out here, at the same time as the other closures.
