Arsenal have been our most frequent opponent (214) throughout our 121-year history. Next on that list are Liverpool (199) and Manchester United (198).
In the reverse Premier League fixture in November, the Blues and the Gunners shared the points, with Trevoh Chalobah and Mikel Merino scoring the goals. Sunday’s meeting will be our fourth of the season with Arsenal and our second in north London in less than a month, following our Carabao Cup semi-final second leg.
Arsenal are unbeaten against the Blues in 10 matches across all competitions (seven wins, three draws). The Gunners’ current eight-game unbeaten run in the Premier League is their longest against the Blues in the competition since a 19-game streak between 1995 and 2005.
Arsenal have claimed victory in their previous three home league games against Chelsea, last winning more consecutively between 1990 and 1994 (five).
