From Wolves signing Pablo Sarabia to incoming Brighton teenager Facundo Buonanotte, HITC Sevens takes a look at a number of permanent transfers during the 2022-23 January transfer window that were cheaper than the £9.5 million loan fee that Chelsea paid Atletico Madrid for Joao Felix.

  1. Video idea: why unlike the US, European footballers don’t have unions?

You know you suck if my country is better than you at anything, let alone unionization of an industry.

  2. A few very recent ones that could’ve been included:

Memphis Depay to Atletico Madrid for €3/4m

Yann Sommer to Bayern Munich for €8m

  3. The move from Midtjylland for a lower fee than expected to Anderlecht is not surprising, as Midtjylland is owned by Matthew Benham, owner of Brentford, and Brian Riemer, who was the brilliant assistant manager at Brentford for years, became Anderlecht manager during the World Cup break.

  4. DAY 89: Hey Alfie, could you do a video on the life, career, controversies and tragedy of Justin Fashanu. It'd be your best video yet and it's a criminally underheard story ❤️

  5. Romania XI if all eligible players declared for them (mainly I know about Karim Adeyemi but not about players back in the golden age)

  6. I have buonanotte in my career mode he had very well rounded stats for such a young age he started off as a 67 at 17 years old and his highest potential was supposed to be 79 but he’s currently 20 yrs old and 81 rated 😂 anyways all I’m saying is these recruiting guys and scouts gotta be using career mode transfer market

  7. A thing about Facundo Buonanotte: the money we were supposed to get is not in the club, and somehow, we owe 300.000 USD to AFA. Our previous board kept it for themselves before they left the club

  8. I am once again asking for a video ranking the best 7 players to move to an obscure league, ranked based on their level at the time of their move and not their career overall

  9. Video suggestion: Is winning the Copa Libertadores harder than wining the Champions League.

Specifically looking at the luxuries that South American teams don’t have

  10. I've never seen Rulli have a good game. Same as Diogo Costa for Porto, I don't understand why they're held in high regard when they consistently have disasterclasses. Even more error prone than Lloris and that's saying something.

  11. Bros acting like our owner didn’t have an asset freeze and forced to sell our club via fire sale. We lost a bunch of our key players simply because we weren’t allowed to extend their contracts. No mention of that eh? What’s this bias reporting. Heavy downvote.

  12. I don't get the issue – this loan fee will play a apart in negotiations in the summer to sign him on a permanent for example we've just signed mudryk for £60m in the case of Joao Felix it would be like if we paid a 10m loan fee to shackar and then payed them 50m in the summer if all goes well. I like this Joao deal as it gives us a taster of a player that has been inconsistent.

  14. Hey Alfie, I just want to say I have been watching your videos for a month or two now and I have to say you really helped me get back into soccer. Combined with the previous World Cup, my interest in soccer has been reignited and you have a big part to play with that. That being said, if you could possibly do a video on the seven best U.S. born players to play most of their club career outside of the U.S. that would be pretty nice.

  15. Buonanotte is still so premature, but he has enormous potential. Against my club (they were visiting us), he played an amazing first half in which none of our defense could even catch a glance at him. Fortunately we made an incredible comeback to win (don't remember if we were 0-3 or 1-3 down), it was hell of a game, but that guy left an impression on us. It was going to be so hard to retain him and see him play a full season here. Hopefully, that won't stunt his growth.

  16. Alfie for the love of god explain how Chelsea can go about these ridiculous transfers when I as a Liverpool fan have to sit and rationalize how Artur on loan this summer was the best move we could’ve made

  17. Love you Alfie, it’s an absolute honor whenever my club the Timbers gets even a passing mention on your channel. Evander is a terrific signing for an MLS club and we’re so excited for this season. Kudos to you for picking that transaction out of the maelstrom of January transfer hype, really a testament to the quality of work you do. Cheers from Portland!
