Micky van de Ven has picked up a toe injury but should be fit for Tottenham’s crucial Premier League clash with Fulham.

Igor Tudor’s side travel to Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon with the Croatian still looking for his maiden win in charge of the Lilywhites.

Spurs were beaten 4-1 by Arsenal in the North London derby during Tudor’s first game as interim manager, highlighting the gulf between the two sides.

Tottenham now sit just four points clear of the Premier League relegation zone, and are yet to pick up a single top-flight victory in 2026.

During his pre-match press conference ahead of Tottenham’s trip to Fulham, Tudor provided an update on his squad.

As expected, Pedro Porro and Kevin Danso are both available for the trip to West London after recovering from their injury issues.

However, as per Alasdair Gold, Tudor mentioned that Van de Ven had a small problem with his little finger.

Igor Tudor on Spurs team news: “Yes [Porro and Danso back and available]. A small problem for Micky [van de Ven] in his little finger, but he’s okay.” https://t.co/n6udAiK9YE

The quotes caused some surprise within the Tottenham fanbase, with supporters questioning the relevance of the injury.

However, Gold later revealed that Spurs had provided some clarification on the comments, confirming that Van de Ven had a small issue with his little toe instead.

Small correction on this. Tudor meant to say little toe not finger for Van de Ven. No Game of Thrones references to be had here.

The confusion came from the fact that the Croatian word ‘prst’ translates to both toe and finger in English.

Despite a toe injury clearly being more serious than a finger injury, Van de Ven is expected to be available to face Fulham.

Igor Tudor gets boost ahead of Tottenham vs Fulham

The news that both Porro and Danso will be back for the trip to Fulham is superb news for Tudor.

The former Juventus boss utilises a five at the back system, and the returning pair should slot straight into the starting lineup.

Joao Palhinha was forced to play at centre-half against Arsenal, but Danso can now come in to relieve the Portuguese international.

Elsewhere, Archie Gray has been playing out of position on the right-hand side of defence with Porro injured, but can now be moved back into central midfield with the Spaniard returning.
