That is stupid. Barella is part of the core of Inter. He is one of the reasons we are doing well. Yes he is not playing at the level of last season but he is still solid. Not even mentioning that he is even covering positions other than his main one.

He’s not been great offensively, but he was never that good in the final third.
He’s still good in the first two thirds of the pitch. Covering a lot and allowing us to get out of pressure. Don’t recall much mistakes in those 2 thirds.
I feel like people are disappointed that he didn’t become a complete player. He hasn’t really progressed in the final third. But it doesn’t work like that. Lautaro playing CB for 5 years won’t make him a world class CB, and the same thing is with Barella.
Maybe it’s time to acknowledge that he doesn’t really belong in the final third, and just let players like Zielinski, Sucic and Hakan take these positions where they’re much more dangerous.

I don’t think that the club is planning to sell him. I mean it is normal with the media to make such speculations about transfers just to get reactions from fans.
