Ruiz and dembele are missing. Vitinha is exhausted. Névés seems out of it despite showing good effort at times. Warren is not good enough technically to find great passes in general like Ruiz did. They get bullied off the ball and don't press or counter press well enough.
That's a huge deal and the times where PSG's midfield wasn't working, e.g., Chelsea and Bayern for example, the team totally collapsed. What's the short term solution?

Hoping for the best, that the players come back from injury or return to their best level ?
The other system that Luis Enrique tried with a back 3 against Marseille or a 4-2-4 versus Newcastle 2 years ago ended in a disaster…
Vitinha might have to do a bit more. He has before. He’s capable of changing the pace and put pressure on defenses in different ways than we’ve been seeing.
Having more quality on the bench, that’s it! We need 3-5 players in the squad to threaten our main players.
the midfield no longer works because in Luis Enrique’s tactics there is no control of the game in midfield… everything is in defense or attack… it is often the defenders in midfield.
