I think we've all been hearing rumors lately that Barcelona might actually try to sign Vlahovic this summer since his contract runs until June, potentially as a long-term replacement for Lewandowski. Honestly, it doesn't sound unrealistic, they have a pretty similar striker profile as strong, physical #9's who can lead the line.
Personally, I think we should seriously consider going hard to keep and properly re-vamp Vlahovic. In my opinion, he's still the best natural forward we have, regardless of how divided the fanbase is about him. Of course, that would mean restructuring his massive current salary, lowering the base wage while adding strong performance bonuses and keeping a solid but sustainable contract. I know many of us wanted him gone last year, but circumstances have changed, and let's be honest, most of our attacking options right now haven't delivered, including the newer arrivals. We might actually need him more than we expected.
The alternative would be letting him leave this summer and spending a big bag on an already established striker, but if we do that, I honestly think the majority of our budget should go toward strengthening the defense and goalkeeper situation instead.
I think a re-vamped, hungry Vlahovic alongside Yildiz would be more than enough for us up front, especially if we significantly strengthened our defense and brought in new, high football-IQ defenders and a goalkeeper. However, if we ignore our defensive issues and spend the majority of our budget on strikers, it would be a huge mistake, and we'd likely end up right back where we are today.
What do you guys think? Should we keep and rebuild around Vlahovic, or move on and invest in a new forward? And if these Barcelona rumors are true, would letting him go be a mistake?

He is gone. He does not deserve the salary he’s given at Juve, and my personal opinion is that he has not developed into a striker worthy of leading Juve’s attack.
Inconsistent, impossible in build up and to be honest he looks too emotional at times. I get his frustration during Allegri 2.0, but his attitude has been horrible for a few years now.
