  1. You cannot expect him to perform on a top level after two seasons of absence. He will be a good sub option in the last 15 Mins in most matches at best.

    I think some people have very high expectations and they are gonna be disappointed most likely. Man haven’t played properly for a long while hes had many injuries so hes gonna need some time and i personally don’t expect much from him this season.

    Xavi depended on him. I don’t know if Flick’s system will be so Gavi centric. I’ll have to see Gavi play for Flick and find out. I think he will make an impact, but I doubt he will be as pivotal to the team’s fortunes as he was on Xavi’s teams.

    great addition to the squad – sure, yes. but I wouldn’t call it having upper hand. He won’t start killing it just after coming back from 8 months long injury. It will take time to find his game sense and rhythm back.
    But if he finds, he will definitely be a huge upgrade to the squad.
