Ederson won golden gloves 3 times plus was arguably motm in the champions league final against Inter, Ederson was an elite shot stopper and no one in the world could play like he did with the ball at his feet.

most of the fans Judges Ederson shot stopping from his last season at the club. Ederson is just good with his feets is a complete lie. I am not saying he is a world class shot stopper like Joe hart but he was a great shot stopper except for the last season.
The difference between the two is passive vs aggressive goalkeeping. Raya is an aggressive proactive goalkeeper, Donnarumma passive. Claiming crosses is far more valuable than people give it credit for especially for a good team who has its defensive fundamentals down. I don’t rate keepers who can’t collect crosses it’s why I never rated DDG. It means you can be bullied at every set piece concede more shots you don’t have to take

Arsenal and Arteta have ruined football with their set-piece tactics.
Allowing players to wrestle and pin the goalkeeper is infuriating to watch… just look at yesterday's match against Everton.
It's now routine: attackers block the keeper, stopping them from doing their job.
The Premier League needs a clear rule; no offensive players in the six-yard box until after the ball is delivered.
That would restore proper defending and goalkeeping instead of this weekly wrestling disaster.
Without change, we'll keep seeing sloppy, low-quality goals. Time to end the set-piece exploitation and return to real football. 🥹🙏

I don't agree with rating goalkeepers based on clean sheets and goals conceded, as it also depends on defensive players and tactics in front. Just like any player, I combine stats with eye tests for even goalkeepers, and how complete a gk is – his positioning to avoid making cat like saves, reflexes to make cat like saves, distribution, sweeping, handling of the crosses and so on.
And, for me, Raya does not even come close to the greats as of now. Even with few of the mistakes this season, Alisson to me is better than Raya and arguably best in the league along with Donnarumma.
For the same reason, I rated Casilllas more than Petr Cech even with his clean sheet record, during their time.
Alisson, to me, has arguably the best balance of 1v1, positioning to avoid making cat like saves, reflexes to make cat like saves, distribution, sweeping, handling of the crosses and so on. This is why a great keeper who has won multiple majors like Ederson who is better than Raya, could not sniff the #1 shirt for Brazil from Alisson.
Oh btw, and Donnarumma, from the factors I mentioned, is better than Raya as well. Goals conceded is largely due to a team effort and defensive tactics.
Hart, Bosnich, Flowers and Barthez have absolutely no business being there.
