    > VAR again decided to intervene to ‘re-referee’ an initial decision which had been made

    > While we await the written judgement, this and other decisions in the match and in other recent games demonstrate a serious issue with VAR and its current deployment which needs urgently reviewed.

Awwwww get a fucking grip. Trying to paint a narrative of being hard done by VAR is laughable.

  2. This season has finally answered the question of how Celtic and Celtic fans would cope with not winning 95% of their games and the answer is “not very well”.

  3. I’m actually starting to get embarrassed for the decent Celtic fans in here at this point.

    What a shambles.

  4. This and Sutton tweeting out like it’s an outrageous decision.

Nobody plays the pressure on refs game like Celtic.

It’s funny because if this was against Celtic and they didn’t send him off they’d be absolutely screaming about refereeing conspiracies and seeking meetings with the refereeing association.

Embarrassing for the club to put this out in what is a not very veiled attempt to get the das back onside. It was a blatant red card for violent conduct, by a guy who is weak as piss and lets himself get rattled frequently.

  7. Some laugh watching them pile pressure on VAR and the officials ahead of the double header with us

  8. Nah, the actual cheek of that statement.

I know it’s a laugh to an extent with the statement league, but to give it the ‘we await the written statement’, clearly designed to put pressure on this outcome further is just shite behaviour.

What do they hope to gain with this? It serves 0 purpose. If some Celtic da’s on twitter wanted a statement then provide one in a fan forum or something.

The guy clearly swiped down with force and it’s a red. The VAR is correct.

  9. Celtic having to spend more money on this appeal than they have on January transfers is objectively very funny.

  10. Surely that is VARs job. The referee seen it from his perspective but the VAR team seen it from different/multiple angles and felt that the referee made a clear and obvious error? Given it was for a potential red card offence it’s their job to inform the referee that they think he has made a mistake?

  11. Are even the most lunar focused of the celtic fanbase appeased by this?

Are celtic finally jumping the shark here and nobody is buying it?

  12. Saying it’s the kind of thing that happens every week is absolutely bonkers. If anyone genuinely thought that, they’d really need looked at.

How they can try to defend what is essentially assault, on the pitch is beyond me hahahahaha
