A police report was made shortly after midnight on Tuesday, February 24 of a burglary at Redhill Park fire station.

It was said that equipment was stolen from two fire engines at the station in Bournemouth.

Police are now investigating the incident.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 12.20am on Tuesday 24 February 2026 of a burglary at Redhill Park fire station.

“It was reported that equipment had been stolen from two fire engines at the station.

“Enquiries are being carried out into the incident and no arrests have been made.”

A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “In the early hours of this morning (24 February) an unknown person gained unauthorised access to Redhill fire station and stole some small items from a fire appliance. 

“This was reported to Dorset Police who we are now working with to assist their enquiries.”
