Former Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper faces scrutiny following another dropped points as Brondby boss.
Cooper took charge of the Danish Superliga outfit last September in a surprising appointment, but has endured a challenging spell in recent weeks.
Monday witnessed Brondby held to a 0-0 stalemate at home against Sonderjyske in the league, prompting doubts to emerge regarding Cooper’s future at the helm.
Brondby have failed to secure victory in their previous six league fixtures, a run of form dating back to November, leaving them third in the Superliga table, 14 points adrift of leaders AGF and eight behind second-placed FC Midtjylland.

Cooper spent almost two years as Forest manager, after being appointed in 2021 and helped the club earn promotion to the Premier League in his first season at the City Ground.
His second season saw Forest finish 16th in the top flight, and went on to leave the club in December 2023.

The former Forest and Leicester City chief now finds himself facing mounting scrutiny at Brondby, reports Leicestershire Live.
With the Danish championship appearing beyond reach, Cooper’s standing as Brondby manager has come under scrutiny from Peter Sorensen, a former manager who most recently led Danish side Vejli.
“I think we have some pretty strong question marks next to these recruitment errors, which we must see as existing for now,” Sorensen told Tipsbladet.
“The players don’t seem to be the right ones. Does the sports director seem to be the right one? He certainly hasn’t convinced me of that.
“Does the coach [Cooper] seem to be the right one? I actually doubt that too – even though he has coached some teams in the Premier League.
“I can’t see where they are going. There is no recognition in the way they play.”
Cooper possesses considerable experience managing at Premier League level, having previously spent time at Leicester, where he spent five months in charge in 2024 after replacing Enzo Maresca, as well as at Forest.
