Manchester United are now eyeing a move for another Nottingham Forest midfielder alongside Elliot Anderson, with Ibrahim Sangare in the club’s sights.
Sangare has enjoyed a brilliant breakout season for Forest in 2025/26, offering a reminder to fans that £30 million for his services is actually worth every single penny.

His form this season has been outstanding, with Theo Walcott calling Sangare ‘fantastic’ earlier this season, and now United appear to be looking closely at the City Ground for summer targets.

According to Give Me Sport, Forest star Sangare is just one of several midfield targets being courted by United ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have also been linked with a move for Elliot Anderson previously, although Manchester City do look to hold the aces with that particular deal.
Other midfielders from the Premier League are in the sights of the ambitious owners at Old Trafford, with proven players from the top-flight likely to be the order of the day once again in the summer.
Forest will almost certainly lose Sangare – amongst others – should relegation be confirmed at the end of the season, and the challenge will be about recouping as much money as possible for his services.
