Ole hadn't been at the club in any capacity since his stint with the United reserves in that ended in 2010 he came back 9 years later to a totally different club. Solskjaer with a competent recruitment department could have been great.
The only good deal was Bruno. Maguire was too expensive. The rest aren't even at the club. Donny van de Beek, Alex Telles, Jadon Sancho, Varane, Ronaldo, Dan James, Wan Bissaka, Cavani, Ighalo (12m Loan fee)

I have no problem with Carrick, to me he was as good as Steven Gerrard, but if Man Utd are serious about winning the top stuff, Ange Postecoglou is a better & more experienced manager.

If Carrick was there from the start of the season united would be title contenders
He won today at Hill Dickinson. Carrick has made the job feel ordinary. Not saying he is going to win all games, but when you look at the way he is going about it, you can tell he is not pressured or overthinking to do the simple things. What he has done is what needs to be built on going forward. That should help the board make the right decision and avoid unnecessary panic.
Harry Maguire is 33 years old next week, United can't give him more than a 1 year contract.
