LOCAL authors Ashley Ball and Chris Brook will be giving a free talk at Oakwell tomorrow (Wednesday).

The duo released ‘Feeding The Wolves’ last year. The book told the incredible story of local football scout Mark Crook who discovered 114 professional footballers – mostly for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Out of his base in Brampton, Crook ran a feeder team for the Molineux outfit and sent them the likes of Ron Flowers, Roy Swinbourne, Alan Sunderland and Steve Daley.

A total of 17 of his players turned out for Barnsley FC and they will be the focus of the talk.

The talk starts at 2pm at Ozone in the South Stand.
