It was reported that at a burglary occurred at an address in Middlebere Crescent, Hamworthy East between 12pm on Sunday February 15 and 11pm on Wednesday February 18.
It was said that five TVs were stolen from the property, as well as a set of car keys for a vehicle that was also stolen but later recovered.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Some windows to this property were smashed to gain entry.
“Five televisions were stolen. These were a Sony, two Panasonic, a Samsung and a Sony Bravia. A set of car keys were also taken and enabled a vehicle to be stolen.
“This vehicle was located via ANPR cameras and recovered.”
In a further crime update issued for Hamworthy East, it was stated that a property in Ashmore Crescent had its bathroom window smashed after a ball bearing was fired at it.
The incident occurred between 11:45pm on Monday February 16 and 8:15am on Tuesday February 17.
Officers investigating the criminal damage and the break-in are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
