The relationship suffered until we reconnected at Sant Jordi. We haven't seen each other since—he was supposed to come on the 23rd for a farewell event, but they preferred to visit the Camp Nou works instead. I knew he was here because of something with the Argentine team. Obviously, we'd let him enter if he wanted—no issue."

Petty Messi. just greet the man, it’s not that serious.
I mean he still feels wronged and rightly so.
Laporta ran his campaign based on keeping Messi and then fucked him over in the last minute on the day of the signing.
But like “let him enter” is a bit condescending.
Messi enters without question in the camp nou whenever he wants , without needing permission.
Laporta is BY FAR the best presidential candidate to maintain the course and continue setting up the club for sustainable success. If this is the thing that ends up undoing his presidential bid, I swear to fucking god…
If Messi had to go, okay. But what was the need for the drama? Joan was never going to sign CVC the deal. It should have been rejected long ago.
Laporta used the deal as a tool to justify kicking Messi out. If we had the space in the wage limit to sign ferran, memphis, aguero, auba, adama maybe a small lever could have helped with keeping Messi?!
If not why couldn’t the departure have been done properly. Why invite him to sign the deal and then tell him to get out before anyone can even digest it.
Laporta wanted to kick him out. That derailed the entire season. That cost us UCL group stage elimination 2 seasons in a row!
What he has been saying about Messi’s departure is a lie!! I am sick of the lies. Lying about Messi. Lying about 1:1. Lying about the Camp Nou return. Humiliating Koeman. Humiliating Xavi. What is next? Throwing Flick under the bus if results go bad? Kicking Yamal out because he’s getting too big?
All Laporta cares about is his ego and legacy. He’ll throw anyone under a bus so that he can look like a hero. And then he says “it’s for the good of the club”
He’s a charismatic politician. He knows what to say and how to say it. Which is why he’s turned so many people into fan boys. Hopefully the socios are smarter and won’t fall for the tricks.
Honestly annoying that Laporta keeps talking about Messi, even after Messi’s father publicly asked him not to speak about his son.
Why can’t this guy just stop bringing up Messi? Messi has never once said he wants to rejoin Barca or said anything bad about Laporta. This behavior is disgraceful
