Paddy’s tipster is backing Mbeumo for a goal for United’s first trip to the Hill Dickinson!
Monday night’s Premier League clash sees Everton host Manchester United. It’s been a tough time for Everton at home lately, with the Toffees yet to win at the Hill-Dickinson Stadium in 2026. But there’s every incentive to end that wait in front of Sky’s glaring cameras, as aside from giving them only a second Premier League double over the Red Devils, a win for David Moyes’ men would revive their hopes of a first European campaign in nine years.
But it’s United who go into this one as slight favourites, given they’ve experienced something of a renaissance under the interim management of Michael Carrick. Contrary to the quite real fears of relegation they had back in a torrid autumn, during which they lost the reverse fixture 1-0 despite a plethora of chances, a top-four finish is now possible for the 20-time English champions.
Ahead of their meeting on Merseyside, PP tipster Feargal Brennan offers his view on an intriguing clash as part of a mega Monday Bet Builder. Two of the selections are covered by Paddy’s Super Sub offer, meaning if a player is substituted, the pick carries over to his replacement. Let’s get those Everton v Man Utd tips.

WHERE: Hill-Dickinson Stadium, Liverpool
TV: Sky Sports Premier League / Main Event
Double Chance: Everton or draw
Everton’s home form has been a concern for Moyes this season despite playing at their shiny new home. The Toffees have only won four league games at home in 2025/26, beating Brighton, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Nottingham Forest all before the turn of the year.
2026 has seen them lose at home to Brentford and Bournemouth, either side of draws with Leeds and Wolves, which has kept Europe just about in view with no cup commitments left.
United have been superb so far under Carrick with four wins and a draw from an unbeaten five-game Premier League streak with the former midfielder at the helm. However, their away results have relied on late rallies, with Matheus Cunha scoring in the dying minutes to snatch a win at leaders Arsenal and Benjamin Sesko’s 90th-minute intervention sealing a draw West Ham last time out.
Despite their sluggish overall form, Everton do not concede many late goals, as Moyes’ battlers are efficient at keeping the back door closed late on. Of the 10 PL goals they shipped in 2026, only one has come past 75 minutes, and if they are still in the game by then – I’d fancy the hosts for at least a point.
Both teams to score: Yes
As mentioned by the above, Everton do concede goals, at an average rate of 1.47 per league outing in 2026. Only one of those games has featured a clean sheet and they’ve not managed a home shutout since the start of December.
United have scored in all five of Carrick’s games and average 2.2 per 90 as their form continues on an upward curve. However, they are shipping goals at the other end away from home, with no clean sheet at either Arsenal or West Ham, and they’ve not stopped a home team from scoring against in the top-flight this season.
Everton don’t score buckets of goals. But, they’ve found the net in six of their last seven home PL clashes, and should get at least one against the Red Devils.
Bryan Mbeumo to score
No one is loving life under Carrick more than Bryan Mbuemo with three goals in his last five starts. As Cunha and Sesko have come in and out of the starting XI recently, the former Brentford man has been ever present under the Geordie coach.
With nine league goals, he’s United’s top scorer this season, even if he won’t match his 20 goals from 2025/26 with the Bees, He’s the man in red hot form for United and Everton could be his next target.
Iliman Ndiaye 1+ shots on target
Everton may need to make the most of limited chances in this clash and Iliman Ndiaye is always a menace out wide. He scored a penalty in last weekend’s 2-1 loss to Bournemouth – his first goal since returning from AFCON glory with Senegal – and he now has five in the league level with Thierno Barry and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
He was a real threat against the Cherries, with two attempts on target, and against a porous United backline he’ll be looking to test Senne Lammens.
