Those crosses are *chefs kiss*. Very glad we got him on loan. Balde is a better defender but for these low block teams, Cancelo is the best option.

Look, it’s obviously impossible to draw conclusions from just one game, but man, Cancelo’s performance today was way better than anything we’ve seen from Balde in several weeks. In particular, for an attacking fullback, he just has a lot more end product than Balde. His crossing and passing in the final third is just far more incisive and he actually seems keen to taken on defenders when possible to create chances.

On his day, he can win the match for you. I think at least offensively Balde can learn a lot from him.
Definitely much improved from his last performances. Hopefully he can keep this up and put some healthy pressure on balde. Some rest for balde is also good.

I’m begging Flick to please start Cancelo over Balde. Balde is stagnating and I think he’s not even as good as he was 3 years ago. Ik Cancelo is questionable defensively but he gaps Balde in terms of attacking influence.

Even tho he’s questionable defensively, his on the ball abilities are top notch
Balde needs to learn crosses from this guy. The one aspect Balde is lacking, Cancelo is really good at it.
