Because there is no expectation for us to win.
Against last place Livingston, who have the worse defence in the league, who have no won a game since August 2025. There is no question we SHOULD be winning.
Our team cannot handle the weight of the expectations domestically. I Don’t know how it started (probably once we came back up and spent a few years being a punching bag) and I don’t know how you change it (new managers, new players, etc.). But we are a desperately broken team mentally.

We got done over at the end with that free kick/penalty but we were absolutely dire. How many times does Danny need to see Gassama on the right to see he’s pish there? How many times does he need to see Chermiti struggle in the lone striker role to see it’s not going to work? We upped the pace at the end but we should’ve had the quality to put that game to bed early on. Far too many thinking they’re superstars that don’t need to put the effort in.

As much as it feels better because we came back from 2 down to get a point and that mob lost, it could be a disastrous result.
We absolutely HAD to win that, especially given they’ve lost.
To not pick up full points against one of the worst teams in memory (who haven’t won since August – 25 games), is genuinely embarrassing.

This was a game of monumental stupidity. 10 shots on and nothing. Livi goes to 10 men and suddenly Rangers come to life and go to a draw. Livi hits the ground with every challenge in the box and the ref buys it each time. A foul on the line and VAR check can’t even give it as a free kick never mind a penalty.

Not one for conspiracies so let’s just say it’s sheer incompetence that referees and assistant referee with multiple camera angles, can’t come to a correct conclusion. If it’s not a penalty, then should it not be a red card for DOGSO? If it’s not a red card then it should be a penalty? How is this so difficult for our officials? If referees can be full time in Sweden, Denmark and Poland, leagues we strive to be like, then Scotland needs to invest in this. Not just for rangers for all teams. Multiple teams have had huge issues this year with referees and it’s not getting better.

Putting the stone wall penalty to one side because although it was a disgraceful decision, we should be winning that game regardless.
I think moving forward Gassama just can’t start. He’s most effective as an impact sub and just doesn’t give you enough when starting. It needs to be Antman on the left or if he’s not fit, then Bajrami.

Terrible result. But I still think Hearts will collapse before the end of the season – so a weekend where we gained a point on that other lot is ok. Put it behind us and onto next weekend. Their confidence will be rock bottom – esp if they take a mid week pumping.
