The Argentine player has been with Bournemouth since signing from Feyenoord in 2022, and he could be on the move in the summer, according to Marca.

It’s believed that Tottenham are keen to sign the centre-back, with the player set to be out of contract during the summer of 2026.

Senesi has been a big part of the success which Bournemouth have had when it comes to stabilising as a Premier League club, but bigger clubs are now monitoring things.

With doubts over Romero’s reliability following his latest sending off, it’s clear that Spurs are eyeing defensive reinforcements, and the 28-year-old does know the Premier League.

Senesi could be a very good signing

The player with two caps for Argentina actually wins more headers per game than Van De Ven, according to Who Scored, and that could make him a very useful addition.

There is definitely an argument that Spurs need to move on from Romero, given his erratic tendencies, and Senesi will head to his next club in the summer in his prime.

Barcelona are also keen on the defender, and with Tottenham unlikely to be in Europe next season, landing Senesi won’t be easy.

However, if the club can appoint a top manager in the summer, there is hope that top players won’t frown upon signing for the club as they look to make a comeback in 2026/27
