[London is Blue Poscast] πŸ“ˆ @Matt_Law_DT : He [Rosenior] met with Joao Pedro more than any other player. Always thought Maresca talked him down as a 9, maybe that impacted him. Rosenior seems to really talk him up as a 9. That seems to have given Joao Pedro a massive jolt of confidence.

Definitely seems to be a manager that we can rely on with his man management, also showing his flexibility with his in game management has been a big plus too. Still far too early but I’ve really liked what we’ve seen from him so far.

Wonder why Joao was confused by Maresca’s insistence on him performing as a quasi-9-hybrid-marauding-10-inverted-false-8-tequartista-possession-based-recycler.Β

I don’t know if Liam is a good manager yet, but I do know we need to be careful once Pep steps down and Man City goes manager hunting

Still trashing Maresca. Can we stop with these briefs. In 1 yr we will be back here saying Rosenier was the problem and the new manager is the best thing since sliced bread.

How many times have we seen this same thing.

I mean say what you want but JP is definitely more aggressive at taking shots now. Whether that’s due to health or the manager idk, but it’s making a huge difference

Under Maresca, Joao Pedro was played as a 9 in the CWC and he played. Abig part in winning that trophy.
Then even at the start of the ssn Joao pedro was cooking as a no.9

    So quit that bullshit.
Maresca won us 2 major trophies in his first ssn, let’s see what Rosenier does.
