At the moment, Madueke is undroppable in my opinion. As that is the case, Saka starting centrally is the best way to get them both in the team if Arteta wants to keep a right footer on the left wing (Trossard, Nelli)

And it would allow Eze to play his actual position instead of playing the right 8 which just doesn’t work. When he plays right 8 he doesn’t play it like Mö does dropping deep to get it but he did in the left 8. Saka can play anywhere in the front 5 positions and be a big threat
Madueke pace is such a tool we need to keep in the team. I think having him and Saka in the team will limit teams ability to double team Saka. Odegaard needs to play deeper, he’s clearly not a 10. Should share minutes with Rice imo

Now that I think of it…Arteta might go for it as it may provide less of a need that his full back join the attack high up the pitch.
A midfield six of Havertz, Saka (10 – right or central) Rice, Odegaard (left 8) Zubi and Norgaard (6) keeps the play central and if the ball does go wide, teams can't risk doubling our wingers. We'd have Madueke, Trossard, Martinelli, and Eze doing strict 1v1s
Saka has taken up the position that Kai has been in so it is decided a direction that Arteta has decided to go in. Very interesting.
Saka is a number 10
It's interesting to see Saka as a No.10 because he's such a complete footballer, I think he could excel in that position. Madueke's form might be the perfect opportunity to play Saka more centrally and have both on the pitch.
Saka has superb control in itght spaces, excellent technique and is highly intelligent. Being restricted to the wing has made him a bit of a sitting target where he is generally closed down by 2 or 3 players who are prepared to bring him down at any opportunity.
Playing more centrally and being able to move around more freely may make it more difficult to pin him down and his bursts of speed, and passing and shooting from outside the box could flourish. Furthermore, he's a strong ball winner and has the expertise to switch back out wide when the space appears.
I think he could go to another level at No.10.
I feel like a lot of people are reading far too much into a last minute change against a league 1 side 🤣

Saka has the IQ, unpredictability and decision making to thrive in the role.
Which means Arteta would have Saka, and Kai as strong contenders for that role with Nwaneri(when he returns), Eze and Merino to lesser extents….
Which to me points to one realistic truth. Arteta can squeeze no more from Odegaard. He can't get to the level of 22/23 season….and would/should be sold on the summer.
Hopefully they win a couple of trophies for him to "leave for a new challenge" with his head up, before his value diminishes to liable levels.

Saka has drifted into midfield several times and it has worked.
When I saw dembele for PSG centrally that's when I thought saka could do a job either the way dembele plays, or instead of odegaard. Who's are best finisher at the club?. That's why when you look at PSG the front 3 are a threat.

I love the fact we can have different ideas and options. The fact that most pl teams set out on how to stop Arsenal is a big compliment.
His best quality is that he can shoot with both feet. How many times have we seen Odegaard completely ruin attacks because he doesn’t want to use his right, its so easy to defend against. 12 more PL games…… lets give teams something they aren’t expecting
We should play Saka as a false 9, Noni right, Nelli left, Eze 10 all of which would be interchanging, Rice and Zubi behind, that would be serious!!!
