Arsenal are widely regarded as the best set-piece team in the world.
The Gunners are outstanding across the pitch and are dominant in every phase of play. But since teams still haven’t figured out how to stop them from scoring from corners, they mock Mikel Arteta’s side.
Arsenal fans, however, absolutely love it and even sing ‘set-piece again, ole, ole’ during every game.
Now, a top-flight football team in Spain have deciced to join rival fans and mock the North Londoners – Sevilla.

Arsenal deserve praise for their set-piece prowess, not criticism.
Yet, rival fans and even some big-name pundits use it as a stick to beat the Gunners with, which is not right at all.
However, many have realised that mocking the Premier League leaders’ set-pieces on social media will generate engagement.
Sevilla have figured that out as well, which is why they took a dig at the Gunners.
On Saturday, the Spanish side drew at home to Deportivo Alaves, who equalised through Toni Martinez in the 60th minute from a corner.
Instead of reporting the goal their side conceded as any other club would, Sevilla’s social media team thought they were funny.
They tweeted: “The away side do an Arsenal and score from a corner.”
Sevilla have just mocked Arsenal on social media. How will you respond, Gooners?
Arsenal didn’t need set-pieces to beat Sevilla
Arsenal have been outstanding at set-pieces for a few years now, and in that period, they played twice against Sevilla.
That was in the 2023/24 Champions League campaign.
The Gunners beat the Spanish side 4-1 on aggregate over the two games, thanks to goals from Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka.
All four goals came from open play in those two fixtures.
One can only wonder how much worse the scoreline would’ve looked for Sevilla if Nicolas Jover’s plans had come to fruition.
