There’s finally some good news for Arsenal on the injury front as Max Dowman has returned to training.
The Gunners have had a torrid campaign with injuries, just like they did last season. Mikel Arteta is yet to have a fully fit squad available for a game this term.
The Arsenal first-team were hard at work at the Sobha Realty Training Centre on Saturday ahead of their FA Cup clash against Wigan Athletic.
Dowman’s presence caught our eye.

Max Dowman is one of the best young players in the world.
The 16-year-old has been a part of Arsenal’s first-team squad since the start of the season and even made five senior appearances across the Premier League, Champions League and the Carabao Cup.
That number would have been much higher by now, but Dowman unfortunately suffered an ankle injury in December, which sidelined him for over two months.
Now, there is finally some good news.

On their website, Arsenal released pictures from Saturday’s training sessionwith the title “Dowman returns ahead of Wigan tie”.
That suggests the teenager will be in the squad when the Latics come to the Emirates, which is really good to hear.
It remains to be seen how fit Dowman really is, as that will determine the amount of game time he will get against Wigan on Sunday.

Martin Odegaard has had multiple injury issues this season.
The Arsenal captain suffered two shoulder problems in back-to-back games earlier this campaign, and that was followed by a knee injury that kept him out for around two months.
In the draw against Brentford, Odegaard hurt his knee again and was spotted limping heavily in the mixed zone after the game.
Now, Odegaard is nowhere to be seen in Arsenal’s training pictures, which suggests that he could miss the clash against Wigan on Sunday.
We really hope that it isn’t a major injury for Odegaard, as Arsenal’s attacking midfield role is in deep trouble already because of Eberechi Eze’s poor form and Kai Havertz’s unavailability.
