Castlepoint in Bournemouth hosted the tree collection to reuse the chippings for landscaping across the park.
David Pickett, centre manager at Castlepoint, said: “We’ve been blown away by the response to our Christmas tree collection this year with nearly 500 real Christmas trees dropped off to Castlepoint.
“The initiative, which chips and reuses Christmas trees to maintain and enrich the landscaping across Castlepoint, was particularly special this year as we partnered with Lewis Manning Hospice Care.
“The East Dorset-based charity dropped off around 200 trees, bringing the grand total to 475, beating our 2024 record of 320 trees.
“We want to thank everyone who took part and dropped off their Christmas trees which are now being distributed across Castlepoint by our waste champion Neil.”
