The woman was found at an address in Higher Blandford Road shortly before 5pm on Monday, December 1.
When officers attended, they noticed signs of a possible burglary.
The woman’s death is being treated as unexplained.
Six people have since been arrested on suspicion of murder and burglary.
They include, a 17-year-old boy from Wimborne, a 32-year-old man from Verwood, a 30-year-old man from Wimborne, a 16-year-old boy from Romsey, a 22-year-old man from Wimborne and a 21-year-old man from Alderholt.
They were all released on police bail as enquiries continue.
Dorset Police have confirmed as of February 12, that all arrested people remain on police bail and there is no further update.
