Nowadays, today's best is attemptedly GOATed, later to be gutted. Jimmy Johnson is an old-school "team guy; the reality (ask Brady). He's not gonna "Greatest to Come" him at this point.

For me, the Jets look like the team that has the most ready-made roster provided they are able to obtain a QB Payton wants. If he tells the Jets that he will sign if they can obtain say, Rodgers (although he has a very small window and a cap-killing salary) or sign Garappolo in free agency, the team should do it in a micro-second. Otherwise, SD looks like the next best option if it cuts ties with Staley. The rest of the possibilities look like rebuilds (that includes Arizona).
