West Ham United are set to be without a key player when they face Burton Albion in Saturday lunchtime’s FA Cup tie.

Claret & Hugh spoke with a top London Stadium source this morning to clarify the injury situation following the Premier League draw with Manchester United.

We were informed that neither Jarrod Bowen nor Crysencio Summerville were substituted due to injury concerns.

However, when we asked whether £20m striker Pablo would be available for the FA Cup, the response was blunt: “No, unfortunately not.”

At this stage, no return date has been given for Pablo.

The good news is that Summerville appears to be showing no ill effects following his collision with United full-back Diogo Dalot, easing fears over another potential attacking absence.

Still, losing a striker ahead of a cup tie is far from ideal — especially with West Ham finally building momentum.

Pablo missed the 1-1 draw with Manchester United with injury and was seen limping in his substitute appearance in the previous game against Burnley.
