Crystal Palace are eyeing a move to appoint Thomas Frank this summer as a replacement for Oliver Glasner, after he was sacked by Tottenham, according to Sports Boom.
The Dane was relieved of his duties this week after another defeat in midweek, losing 2-1 to Newcastle at home, leaving them with just two wins from their last 17 games and just five points above the relegation zone in 16th place.
Palace are on a difficult run of their own and already know that their manager will leave at the end of the season, when his contract expires, and with the search on for his replacement, Frank has now entered the running.

Frank, who has been described as ‘incredible’, grew his reputation as a coach during his time at Brentford, where he spent seven years and oversaw the club from being a Championship side, to becoming a stable Premier League team.
However, after a rough spell in north London he is now free to get back to management, and Palace are ready to offer him an immediate route back into the Premier League with another London club.
Palace are set to approach the manager for talks to see how he feels about a potential role at Selhurst Park, with owner Steve Parish feeling as though he is the right type of project manager needed, given his success with Brentford on a modest budget.
Palace are likely to oversee a major squad overhaul this summer with Jean-Philippe Mateta and Adam Wharton likely to move on, and that will provide an opportunity for the next manager to immediately put their stamp on the squad.
Does Frank to Crystal Palace Make Sense?

Palace have seen great success over the last 18 months under Glasner with a pragmatic style of football and top individuals able to step in and win games on their own.
With most of those players gone now and needing to be replaced, the defensive stability within the squad will make the most sense to keep together, and with Frank previously playing in a back-three system too, it could be an excellent fit for all parties.
A summer arrival would allow Frank a chance to recharge and plan ahead of time, while the club could also make plans for the summer and Glasner overlooks the rest of the campaign. This could be the right answer for everyone involved.
