Ive always liked him for being a team player and i am always happy to see him do well…its just that he hardly ever does well. 💀
There’s nothing misunderstood about Diogo Dalit he just ain’t it. He’s played cause there’s no one else to play there. Wan-bissaka benched him.
I get nervous when he has the ball especially when making fast attacking movements, he is going to misplace the ball.
Turn him to LM just like Dorgu so that he doesn't have to defend so much, also unleash his attacking potential
I don't know where the Dalot hate started (presumably some braindead "fan" channel) but it's so obviously not based in reality. People always conveniently forget the period under Ten Hag where Dalot looked like the best fullback in the league, before Shaw and Malacia got injured and Dalot had to start playing out of position every other week. Then we brought in Amorim and he had to learn several new roles and positions in a completely new system that clearly wasn't working for anybody in the squad. Is it really a surprise that the player who has had to juggle like 9 different roles to cover for other players' availability issues sometimes gets his positioning/timing mixed up? Dalot is the sort of player that would have been a mainstay in any of Fergie's title winning squads for his availability and mentality alone – but I genuinely think that if you commit to making him the starting RB, and buy some LBs that can stay fit for more than a fortnight at a time, he can be elite.
