Erik ten Hag was gutted on the sidelines as Manchester United dropped 2 points thanks to a once-in-a-lifetime free-kick from Olise…but arguably Casemiro’s yellow card and subsequent suspension for Arsenal was a bigger blow.

Ten Hag’s reaction on the sideline said it all. Two points dropped and Casemiro being ruled out, what a blow that is. However, 9 wins and 1 draw in our last 10 games? Incredible. Bring on Arsenal…even without Casemiro.

  1. This just reminds me of Ole’s reign. We had runs like these but never convinced in any of the matches. Our highest goal margin is 3!! Werghost is too slow to be our number 9, he won’t make it past this season. Man utd is certainly not back. We need an actual striker and we finally need to let go of Martial, he’s too inconsistent. Finally, can we score more than one goal in an away match ffs. They didn’t even look interested in scoring the second goal. We deserved this draw. Next time kill the game off so you can relax. Expecting a loss against Arsenal, Fred and Tominay can’t control a midfield, that has been established.

  2. The team felt casemiro's yellow card and knew what he means to the team and our captain lacked second half and at some points in the first half we need to address bruno's sloppy passes he does at times.
We slammed Ronaldo for he's sloppiness in play and passes. Casemiro even told bruno he should have played the pass fully thru. I believe weghorst would've scored if he played full 90.

  3. Rashford was woefully ineffective
We should’ve gotten that penalty from that challenge to n Scott
We got complacent in the 2nd half trying to invite Crystal Palace on to us and then breaking quickly that there was when we lost it in my opinion we should’ve kept on attacking and would in turn protect Casemiro more

  4. We should have taken casimero off five minutes earlier the challenge would have been made by another player. The team has to take arsenal by the scruff of the next. Dictate the first and second half totally. To win the game minimum 3-0 the devils 👹

  5. I don't understand wtf was bruno and rashford playing at, wasted most of they're chances and it was cmng all along in the second half. I think there's one thing every united fan shld do, shut up and don't boast so much just because u win certain games doesn't mean ur squad has improved tremendously. this was a sign that the squad needs to change and the tactics too. that's what arrogance gives u. Fred, wan bissaka, rashford, bruno, casemiro were awful. that last minute crossed shld have been converted by casemiro. they rlly need to stop wasting they're chances otherwise this kind of thing is going to keep happening.

  6. Casemiro knew what he was doing, his reaction immediately after said that, but I think he was thinking "try and secure the 3 points here, or hope for 3 points against Arsenal" and he made the right decision at the time for me. Unfortunate in the end, United played brilliantly, as did Palace, and that free kick was just insane. Now the loss of Casemiro is probably worse than the draw but I stand by that at the time, I think he made the right decision thinking it would help us secure the 3 pts

  7. I observed something with rashford on the game today, he wasn't really spectacular today probably it's because weghorst was in position so it kind of distorted rashford's movement today. Rashford was supposed to be a little deeper but the presence of weghorst limited his impact. Also when mctom. Was coming in, I thought it would be for casemero because of the fear of the 5th yellow card. And I wonder why erikson was taken off.. anyway we are still learning… It wasn't gonna be easy at crystal palace..

  8. Come on guys ….. This is part of the process !! Weghorst is being adapted with the team.
Ten Hag has limited players in the bench, so he forced to continue play Casamiro. I think this result is fair enough. The United play well, but Crystal Palace so lucky got the goal
    Keep the spirit on, lads.

  9. Look it's disappointing but the fact it's it's disappointing just shows how much weve improved and how our expectations have changed to how we used to feel, any other day during the last 5 seasons we wouldn't be so deflated and even said it's not a bad result away from home but don't take this feeling of disappointment for granted not long ago winning these games was more of a hope, I can't remember the last time Ive felt this down drawing away after winning nine games, this just a little reminder to not get carried away and these players can use this game as experience for the rest of the season

  10. A game of what ifs. Rashford did look a bit personal goal focused, maybe Casamerio should have been taken off, it was a penalty but given the week we have had it would be churlish to whinge about a bad call. I trust in ETH to have the right internal discussions and steer things right. At the end of the day we are level on points with City with a firm foot in the top 4. Who amongst us would have expected that about 17 games ago?

  11. If I am correct Arsenal are also without Saka and Saliba who are also key players for them! Although Casimero is a big blow for us but think Arsenal has a bigger blow when compared to us

  12. They never dominated the second-half. 2nd half was very poor, loosing ball too easily. If you play like that against your tops rivals, you will be punish.
And again casemiro missing out, was my biggest hurt in that game, I decided not to complete watching the game anymore.

  13. like rashford was so selfish in the second half nt even passing and trying to solo like they need to stop being selfish and pass the damn ball otherwise they're just playing they're own damn game. nw without casemiro that next game is gonna be difficult. the players need to stop trying to solo and take on defenders on they're own and learn to trust and pass the ball to one another otherwise getting to top 3 or hell even winning the league will be impossible. rlly awful performance tdy.

  14. Erik has played Martinez as a 6 many times at Ajax, perhaps Erik will replace Casemiro with Martinez and put Shaw at CB with Malacia at LB.
I sense Rashford will play up top with Bruno playing wide and Fred coming in as he did vs DeBruyne to do the same job on Odegaard.
We left a lot out on the pitch at OT Saturday and we need energy and belief back if we are to rebound on Sunday vs the best Arsenal team since 2004.

  15. Casemiro or not I dont believe we will not lose to Arsenal on Sunday. Because Ten Hag is like Hannibal from the A-Team His always got a plan.

  16. There's no need for Casimiro to commit that foul, Varane was coming and Martinez had the middle covered. Casimiro did the same thing in the 2018 WC and missed the game against Belgium, which Brazil lost as Lukaku ran through the middle

  17. Palace deserved the point, we was not progressive or urgent enough in possession. 3rd worse performance of the season.

Against Arsenal without Cas, I personally think going 5 at the back is the correct move. Push Malacia and AWB high against Saka and Martinelli, have Shaw and Varane covering. Play Licha in a half back role, being progressive and pushing out in possession. Drop Fred on Odegaard and I would play split strikers in Rashford and Garnacho, Gabriel especially can get caught in the channels. Nullify Saka, Odegaard and Martinelli we have a half a chance. Easier said than done

  18. Guys, let's not overreact. We knew coming to Selhurst Park was tough. Taking a point is good. Not great, but good. And you have to have more faith in the squad and not just in Casemiro. As for Rashford, he's the form player, we love that. And he must have felt pressure to carry us over the line. Chin up. There's still half a season to go. After 2 games this season, if I offered you top 4, you would have taken it in a heartbeat. And after a great run, we're throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Don't be Monday morning quarterbacks. They need our support

  19. We lost Casemiro simply because we lost control of the game at 2nd half and ETH didn’t have a choice than to leave Him on the pitch. If we didn’t have him there, we loose that game for sure. It hurts deeply, but we move on to AFC, I am very confident we coming out of Emirates with a win.
