  1. I disagree with your comments on his attitude. He needed someone to nurture him after his leg break and there came Mou to destroy whatever little confidence he had. So for me, Luke Shaw is a true HERO!! For me Luke Shaw is a hero because he has seen multiple low points only to always come back and never give up

  2. bro your takes on players you've already written off are the worst. 6 month period where luke shaw played well? it was a year, and for a year he was the best LB in Europe.

  3. One thing I've noticed across the board with a lot of our players is they are all in much better physical shape than they were before.
Shaw is in the best physical shape of his career. He looks extremely sharp both mentally and physically. I've always been a massive fan of Shaw. I played LB at a decent level and I understand the demands, Shaw has always been a fantastic LB, one thing that has really helped him at CB or LB this season is Casemiro. The balance he offers inside or in front of Shaw is massive.

  4. I admire and respect you for admitting about being too harsh on Luke Shaw and acknowledging his renaissance under ETH leadership. Lets cheer the Red Devils on…. they deserve it with the never say die attitude shown.

  5. I never really doubt luke shaw… the first time i saw him play was for united, and from then on I’ve watched his ups and downs…. I believe he’s a red devil for life, no matter how inconsistent his form is.. I’ll never doubt him!!

  6. Ten hag is just so smart.
With Martínez missing the Barca game, his definitely starting that game.

Ten had has been preparing him for that game.

  7. Imagine if Utd had sold Shaw and he then started to play this week for his new team. It does show that sometimes it’s worth sticking with an underperforming player.

  8. It’s weird how much you criticised him when he’s played this well before, a bunch of times. You always maintained he wasn’t good enough. But let’s be honest, he suffered like the whole squad did under poor management and coaching. He’s always been quality but not performed like the majority of the squad. You’ve always been overly critical of him but I’m glad at least he’s proving why he’s a quality player and why so many of us backed him when others didn’t.

  9. In regards to Fullbacks becoming central defenders: Its in the Dutch football managers playbook. In case your defenders are not good enough convert a fullback into the position. In fact fullbacks, with ability to defend, make for natural defenders due to their better positional awareness ( when they do have it).
Shaw will never be a stellar CD but he can and will be a very useful member of the squad ETH is building. As you correctly mention Howson, it adds an other dimension to the managers tactical options. And btw well done on making this video despite the scathing criticism you have sometimes had for Shaw ( rightfully so I have always been in agreement in regards to his past).
I will never tire saying this, ETH and his coaching team is doing a stellar job behind the scenes. Its too early to be this giddy but its bringing me memories of late 80s SAF. We need to get behind this one and support him in the long run as well.

  10. one thing that has really impressed me with Luke Shaw other than his solid perfomances this year, has been his passing range, especially the long balls either forward or switching it to the other side.

  11. Luke Shaw has been absolutely immense! I love watching him play when he is in form and my goodness this season he has been bang on. One of our most important players 🔥

  12. I feel he plays with his heart on his sleeve and honesty, he's not always been great, but has always been one of the more talented players in the squad , It's great to see him level up.

  13. Ten Hag has that SAF control and professionalism about him with the knowledge to back it up. So many players doing the right things more often accross the pitch. So different from the last decade of panic playing periods during a game. Squad atmosphere seems improved even when Ronaldo was Divaing and Maguire was getting slaughtered on England duty. Must be so much better now than 1 month ago as well. Glad Shaw is responding well he is a quality player in a well drilled system.

  14. What I love about this and shaw turning up at CH, is that a successful squad needs flexibility – Sir Alex had Johnsen, O’Shea, Ji Sung, etc that could perform at high levels all over the pitch. Love it

  15. Shaw has impressed me with a few things but number 1 is his passing ability some of those curling defence splitting through balls are fantastic. Its like he’s playing bowls with his feet. Brilliant progress keep it up son.
